Sanford Health is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician to join the group in Fargo, North Dakota. The department consists of four physicians and one nurse practitioner.
Practice consists of primarily pediatric patients and some adult patients who are also seen in the clinic and hospital.
Call will be one in five weekends.
Sanford health in Fargo is a CARF certified rehabilitation hospitals in both general rehab and brain injury.
Medical staff includes more than 55 board certified pediatrics and pediatric sub-specialists.
Serving patients over 140,000 square miles across North Dakota and Minnesota with the region’s only Level II Pediatrics Trauma Center and Tertiary Referral Center.
Sanford's Children's Hospital is currently a 60 bed facility with a Level II PICU and LEVEL III NICU
The new $494 million, state-of-the-art Sanford Fargo Medical Center, scheduled to open in 2017 will house a new children's unit that includes 72 beds; 16 general pediatrics, 16 PICU and 40 NICU.
Interest in teaching, regional outreach activities and clinical research are encouraged.
