The Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation at the Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and the Penn State College of Medicine is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Fellowship-Trained Orthopaedic Hip and Knee Arthroplasty Surgeon as Faculty to join a busy established practice at our main medical campus in Hershey, Pennsylvania featuring primary, complex primary and revision arthroplasties. The Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation is led by Department Chair, Dr. Kevin Black, MD with the Hip and Knee Joint Arthroplasty Division led by Division Chief, Dr. Charles Davis III, MD, PhD.
Our team includes three Hip and Knee Arthroplasty physicians, five dedicated Advanced Practice Clinicians (PA’s), as well as a dedicated inpatient physical therapy team. The service has state of the art patient education and quality programs in place and utilizes a robust clinical database to track patient outcomes. Candidates should be committed to cultivating an academic surgical practice with involvement in graduate medical education and clinical and/or basic science research.
Salary is based on experience and will be highly competitive amongst academic medical centers. Academic rank commensurate with experience.
