East Bay Community Action Program, a $30 plus million, 535 Employee, multi-site, full service integrated care non-profit Agency is seeking a Supervisor Clinical Behavioral Health. The Supervisor Clinical Behavioral position is for our expanding Behavioral Health Services at our Health Center in East Providence. The ideal candidate will provide a wide range of age-appropriate clinical services to one or more populations served by the organization (child/youth/adult/geriatric/addictions, etc.).
Recruit, select, orient, supervise and monitor mental health and addiction clinicians. Provide clinical and administrative supervision to assigned mental health and addictions staff.
Provide or coordinate treatment supervision to staff working toward chemical dependency or mental health credentialing.
Ensure that all department services are compliant with the rules and regulations delineated in the rules and regulations of JCAHO, BHDDH, DCYF, Medical, Managed Care Organizations (MCO’s), and/or and other regulatory agency/body that EBCAP is involved. Conduct periodic clinical chart audits to ensure that documentation is compliant governing content, timeliness and appropriateness of care.
Provide treatment planning, coordination of services, continuing evaluation of mental health and/or addiction disorders, outreach, and discharge planning for an assigned caseload. In addition to standard adult and/or children’s therapy, a Clinical Therapist may specialize in providing services to certain populations (youth, elder, addictions, etc.). Conduct initial clinical assessments as assigned.
Proficiency with electronic medical record(s); Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary staff and outside providers; Experience with Motivational Interviewing; Experience working with patients regarding their care team coordination.
All clinicians must demonstrate knowledge of age-specific, culturally sensitive assessments and therapies, as well as providing individual assessment, individual, family and group therapies. Must be able to read, write and communicate in English. Employee is expected to maintain clinical licensure in good standing, and participate in continuing education activities
Master’s Degree in Social and/or Human Services from an accredited school of social work
Rhode Island Licensure
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a community health, substance abuse, social work or clinical setting.
