The Compliance Associate will provide service, support, and advice in response to the changing needs of the organization, laws, and governmental policies. Responsibilities includes planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating the Compliance Plan and the related activities to preserve and enhance the organization's reputation for integrity. The Compliance Associate assist with the day-to-day administration of the Compliance Program.

Develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance, raise employee awareness of compliance issues, and address and remediate any problems or incidents
Respond to incoming inquiries relating to our compliance framework, while ensuring a quick turnaround and excellent customer service
Provide filing and administrative support
Maintain and monitor Compliance Incident Management System
Maintain the Compliance intranet site for the company
Assist in Compliance Education and Training efforts
Stay abreast of changes in Medicare, Medicaid, and other payer changes in dialysis center licensing and certification requirements
Manage and maintain companywide insurance policies including General/Malpractice, Auto, Cyber, Property, D&O, Crime/EPL
Maintain and issue certificates of insurance as required by contracts
Process claims related to covered liabilities companywide
Responsible for driving the Satellite Healthcare culture through values and customer service standards
Accountable for outstanding customer service to all external and internal customers
Develops and maintains effective relationships through effective and timely communication
Takes initiative and action to respond, resolve and follow up regarding customer service issues with all customers in a timely manner
Minimum Qualifications: Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Health Care or Business Administration
Experience: Two (2) years of experience in Healthcare Compliance
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Models an example of teamwork, respect and initiative, contributes to harmonious and constructive relationships
Strong knowledge of Corporate and Healthcare Compliance, and HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules
Strong knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid provider-supplier enrollment and related licensing requirements and regulations
Strong knowledge of DHS administrative licensing requirements
Demonstrated effective and efficient analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
Demonstrated ability to plan and organize effectively
Ability to handle multiple open files/filings and meet deadlines
Demonstrated integrity and ethical behavior
Self-starter with ability to translate strategies into goals and action plans
Able to implement action plans and achieve goals
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
