Provides overall direction and strategic planning of Owensboro Health Medical Group entities and employed physicians within Owensboro Health.
Authority over the strategic goals, plans and standards for Owensboro Health Medical Group and ensures they are consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
Provides visionary leadership for all Owensboro Health Medical Group operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination and complaint management to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
Oversees Owensboro Health Medical Group leadership with staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, corrective actions and continuing education initiatives.
Monitors and evaluates Owensboro Health Medical Group department budgets, and ensures that all entities operate in compliance with allocated funding. Ensures internal/external audits are conducted by Owensboro Health Medical Group leaders.
Develops new business opportunities in the communities served in collaboration with the system executive team and the board.
Establishes strategic plans for fiscal and operational outcomes.
Builds relationships and communicates effectively with all levels of employees as well as the Board and community leaders.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field required. Master's degree preferred.
8 years progressive experience in a related field with a minimum of one year experience in a leadership role required.
