DESCRIPTION: Primary focus is to manage the hospital quality measures (CORE Measures) process; inclusive of data review and analysis, coordinating process flow and improvement activities with nursing and physicians. Conducts ongoing education to all staff regarding quality outcomes. Facilitates workgroups related to the hospital quality initiatives. Facilitates the development of outcomes focused studies and outcome indicators through discussions with Quality Management staff, Medical Staff, Senior Management and Director. Benchmarks with internal and external data resources and maintains a benchmarking database. Designs and analyses statistically valid aggregate data to develop reports for presentation. Compiles with study requirements for TJC, CMS, DOH and other standards and regulations agencies. Assists the Director with root cause analysis, FMEA and other requested team activities. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Registered Nurse graduated from an accredited hospital, college or university. Minimum of five years clinical experience in a hospital setting. Minimum of two years quality review preferred. Certification in Healthcare Quality preferred. Successful completion of all Orientation Programs.
