The Corporate Supply Chain Department is seeking a dynamic and talented Program Director-Purchased Services and Laboratory. Under the direction of the Senior Director of Sourcing and Contracting, The Program Director serves as the strategic leader for the prudent sourcing and contracting of all purchased services and laboratory categories managing $250 million in annual spend across 392 facilities. Investigates alternatives; reviews cost effectiveness; solicits bids and negotiates with vendors. Leads typically high spend/high impact categories initiatives that span the corporation's Acute Care, Behavioral Health, Physician Practices, and Free-Standing Emergency facility entities. Reviews the terms and conditions of local facility contracts to ensure compliance with UHS Legal specifications and to ensure they are most favorable to the facility and UHS. Collaborates with UHS facilities and Corporate Operations teams on the development and execution of local contracts, participating early in the process to reduce duplication of effort and renegotiation. . Requires a skill set that includes both technical contracting expertise and strong service excellence acumen. Communicates frequently with Executive Management at both Corporate and Facility Levels.
