The Senior Vice President, Bancroft NeuroRehab is responsible for the overall strategic and operational leadership of clinical and residential services, including but not limited to program operations, clinical quality, staff development and leadership, program expansion, revenue generation and goal achievement within the NeuroRehab Service line. Serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for clinical and residential services, while continually developing deep knowledge of the field, core programs, operations, funding/reimbursement, and business plans.
-Collaborates with the Executive Team to develop and achieve strategic goals. Works with Service Line Leadership Team to establish and implement short and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operational procedures that align with and support the organization’s Strategic Plan.
- Develops and manages the annual operating and capital budgets, and effectively manages operations to achieve targeted operating and financial goals for the service line.
-Defines, monitors and evaluates service line financial and operational success. Develops relevant Key Performance Indicators to achieve and continually improve sustainability of excellence in clinical, financial and service outcomes for individuals served, their families, funders and internal stakeholders.
-Demonstrates effective leadership through recruiting, retaining, and developing a strong Team to support and improve the BNR service line. Assess and improve engagement of personnel, and works proactively to improve the work environment to support retention and individual development of Team members. Establishes clear performance objectives for each direct report, models accountability for entire leadership team, and ensures timely and specific developmental feedback and coaching is provided on an ongoing basis to continually improve performance. Demonstrates credibility throughout the organization and with the Board as an effective leader.
-Maintains effective verbal and written communications with colleagues, those served, and their family members and/or guardians when applicable, funders and all internal and external stakeholders.
-Remains current with training, certifications, licenses and other required credentials in order to meet all regulatory requirements, and continue to remain current and relevant as a subject matter expert.
-Responsible for ensuring compliance with all Bancroft policies and procedures, state and federal laws and regulations, and CARF accreditation standards. Serves as a role model for the Bancroft Mission Statement, Vision Statement, Core Values and Philosophy of Care in promoting ethical behavior, establishing relationships and providing guidance in decision-making.
-Master’s degree in relevant field of study required.
-Minimum of 10-15 years related operations experience, with at least 7 years in a senior executive role; prior strategic operational experience strongly preferred.
-Clinical experience as Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech Therapist, Psychologist or Neuropsychologist is helpful, but not required.
-Strong business and operational acumen achieved through prior experience and success is essential.
-Experience in a non-profit environment required; human services experience is preferred.
-Technically adept in all areas of clinical and residential operations and experience working with funders is required. Ability to analyze financial, clinical, and operations data is expected.
-Able to synthesize clinical, financial and operational data and processes to understand relationships and continually achieve improvements.
-Must be a strong collaborator that can effectively build consensus across multiple organizational levels to achieve optimal results and buy-in. Strong executive presence, communication, customer service, team building and conflict resolution skills are essential.
-Must be a decisive leader with a high degree of integrity, accountability and performance orientation. Able to effectively prioritize and manage multiple changing responsibilities. Excellent technical, communication and systems skills, and a process-based orientation to continuous improvement is essential.
-Valid driver’s license required in incumbent’s legal name and current address with no provisional restrictions.
