AdventHealth Rehabilitation provides rehabilitation services and support across our 9 campus inpatient hospital system. The focus of Rehabilitation services is to provide individualized, progressive, evidence based care that transfers across the full continuum. Our team of highly skilled Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Language pathologists, Rehabilitation Nurses and Technicians have the knowledge and equipment to provide the state of the art treatment and whole person care to progressive patients and return them to an active community lifestyle.

The Program Manager – IRF Compliance & Quality, works in collaboration with directors, other managers, physicians and staff plans, implements, monitors and enforces compliance to the rules and regulations of all applicable, local, state, and federal agencies, and to the standards of all accrediting bodies governing the Rehabilitation Facility. Utilizing a variety of program development and process improvement methodologists embraced by the organization manages the quality of all programs provided in the Rehabilitation Facility. Promotes a collaborative environment that that facilitates staff development, physicians’ engagement and top performance in quality indicators. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
Initiative and ability to work independently (self-direction), while thriving in a setting requiring collaboration and teamwork for maximal efficiency and effectiveness
Competency in the use of performance improvement methods
Organizational, attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in understandable terms to all levels of staff
Effective computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office (Outlook, Power Point, Word, Excel) (Preferred)
Associate degree in healthcare or related field
Two years of healthcare related experience
Master’s degree in business or healthcare administration (Preferred)
Inpatient experience (Preferred)
Licensure, Certification, or Registration Required:
Licensed in the State of Florida in a Health-related discipline (RN, OT, PT or ST)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Certification in a quality improvement methodology/toolset such as Lean, Six Sigma, Change Management, etc. (Preferred)

Ensures adherence to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance plan, to the rules and regulations of all applicable, local, state, and federal agencies, and to the standards of all accrediting bodies. Includes but not exclusive to, DNV, CMS, AHCA, CARF, OSHA and multiple disciplines specific practice act. Establishes an organizational knowledge of all regulatory and quality standards that effect the operations of the Rehabilitation Facility.
Researches and implements evidence-based and best practices as it relates to performance outcomes, to provide cost effective and efficient care. Contributes in strategic and operational decisions that affect the Rehabilitation Facility from a quality and regulatory compliance perspective. Contributes in the development of the strategic business and performance plans.
Participates in the development of tracking methods, monitors performance, periodically analyzes performance data, and as needed acts as a change agent. Using shared decision making, gathers input, develops processes, facilitates implementation and validates conformance with regulatory standards and quality indicators. Once desired performance is obtained, works collaboratively to sustain results.
Enforces facility, physicians, managers and staff continuous survey readiness in terms of knowledge and execution, as evident through documentation reviews, tracers, rounds and survey results. Timely and accurately share performance gaps with leadership and is actively involved in the remediation plan.
Responsible for providing expertise and guidance in the development of education related to regulatory and quality compliance. In collaboration with directors, leads the coordination and communication during regulatory/accreditation surveys. Serves as a subject matter for aspects related to regulatory and quality when developing policies, procedures, work instructions and Performance Management and Strategic Business Plans.
