WORK SCHEDULE:Days (Mon-Fri 8-hour shift between the hours of 7:30AM – 4:30PM; no weekends or holidays)
WORK TYPE: Full Time (1.0 FTE)
Provides support during the review, development and implementation of revenue capture systems as it relates to new department set up. Serves as a financial lead for professional revenue recognition and analytics, and synthesizes information for new program/service design. Maintains full understanding of commonly-used workflows, concepts, practices, and procedures within a dynamic healthcare field. Utilizes extensive experience, creativity and judgment to plan, execute and accomplish goals in a timely fashion. Shows flexibility to perform a variety of tasks as they present themselves. Further acts a liaison between revenue management, clinical operations and financial reporting for all professional revenue matters. Adjunct duties include but are not limited to providing analytical supporting for Achieving Excellence initiatives related to revenue recognition and flow within the Geisinger Health System in the form of project management support functions utilizing Lean Six Sigma techniques. Reports to and receives general direction from the Manager, Revenue Recognition and Analytics.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Health Care or related field required.
Associate’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, Mathematics, or other data relevant field required. Minimum three years work experience in implementation of new systems or enhancements, report writing and end user support and training and exposure to programming, design and analysis required.
Minimum six years work experience in implementation of new systems or enhancements, report writing and end user support and training and exposure to programming, design and analysis required.
Six Sigma Lean White Belt required prior to start date.
