The eLearning Instructional Designer essential responsibilities include: Utilizes technology to create and develop e-Learning courses. Establishes and implements standard operating procedures for training requests intake, building courses, etc
Through effective needs analysis, select and use the appropriate learning methodology, storyboarding solutions and instructional design tools and technology to create a successful blended learning environment to maximize learning potential and outcomes.
Through use of exercises, interactivity, multimedia and knowledge checks, evaluates program effectiveness based upon accomplishment of learning objectives and demonstration of positive behavior changes in program participants.
Implements appropriate changes to curriculum/programs to improve outcomes such as comprehension of learning objectives and application of positive behavior changes.
Organizes, develops, and manages education and learning process manuals, and course materials.
Collaborates with key stakeholders to promote formal education and learning programs available as well as identify the need for additional learning programs.
Analyzes education and learning needs, evaluates existing and future training programs and provides strategic recommendations.
Assists with development and implementation of strategic planning initiatives under the direction of the Training Leadership Team.
Utilize innovative practices, research, insight, experience and understanding of the needs and culture of Satellite Healthcare to develop and design training courses and materials.
Maintains knowledge of current and future of industry standards, evidence-based practice, regulated training requirements, and continuing education guideline requirements.
Participates in staff training and meetings.
Performs and documents all duties as assigned in accordance with Satellite’s P&P, and state and federal regulations. (condition of coverage; HIPAA, OSHA, CDC, etc.)
Responsible for driving the Satellite Healthcare culture through values and customer service standards.
Accountable for outstanding customer service to all external and internal customers.
Develops and maintains effective relationships through effective and timely communication.
Takes initiative and action to respond, resolve and follow up regarding customer service issues with all customers in a timely manner.

Minimum Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree required. Concentration in Training & Development, Instructional Technology, or related field.
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered for meeting the minimum requirements.
Minimum 2 to 4 years’ experience in training design, organizational effectiveness or adult learning course creation.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong knowledge in adult education learning theory, performance support strategies, and instructional design technologies.
Proven experience with e-Learning development applications, Articulate Storyline and Articulate Studio preferred.
Experience with multimedia development software, Adobe Creative Cloud applications including Photoshop, Premiere, and Audition preferred.
Preferred experience with multimedia production including video and audio editing applications.
Ability to drive execution and results, make good decisions, and anticipate the impact of actions.
Ability to share knowledge and work in a strong team-oriented environment.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and superior organizational skills.
Ability to provide a portfolio of proven work samples and experience per request.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
