CHI Franciscan Rehabilitation Hospital opened the doors of this new 60-bed hospital in May 2018 to serve patients recovering from strokes, brain and spinal-cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions. The hospital is a joint venture partnership between CHI Franciscan Health and Kindred Healthcare.

Provides patient care services that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care; meets the communication needs of patient and family; provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervision of a registered nurse.

This position helps cover the floor to give other nurses the ability to take an uninterrupted break. Full Time night shift.

Experience/Skills:

• Graduate of accredited LPN/RN program with current licensure in the state of Washington
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support
  • Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, evaluate and direct activities of clinical personnel; effective oral and written communication skills, in English with additional languages preferred; proficiency in basic computer skills required.

Physical and Safety Requirements:

• Good general health and stress coping ability. Ability to walk or stand for periods of at least 8 hours. Stooping, sitting, bending and carrying of items including the ability to lift or move patients. Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with all constituents (patients, families, peers, and other healthcare team members) as needed for leadership, assessment, intervention, and professional development.
