Fairbanks Memorial Hospital is now looking for a Full Time Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) to join the Radiology Department! A Rad Tech (RT) will perform general x-ray duties and other prescribed radiographic procedures in accordance with the department/facility policies, procedures and protocols. TheRadiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) position requires completion of a Radiology program and certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) as well as current BLS. This position performs prescribed radiographic procedures in accordance with department/facility policies, procedures and protocols. This position ensures optimal care/treatment to patient population. Position Available: Part Time 3 - 8 Hour Varied Night Shifts
Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards. Provides all customers of Foundation Health with an excellent service experience by consistently demonstrating our core and leader behaviors each and every day. Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited school of Radiology program. Requires national certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and licensure by the state regulatory agency if applicable. BLS certification required. This position requires clinical knowledge typically achieved with 1 year of experience. Must demonstrate effective communication skills, human relations skills, analyze data and solve problems.
