Assists licensed nursing staff in providing direct patient care to patients ranging from adult to geriatric. Functions as an active member of the Multidisciplinary Treatment Team under the direction and supervision of the RN. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth, development and assessment data, reflective of the patient�s current status in relation to their age specific needs.

Minimum Education: High School Diploma

Minimum Experience: One year psychiatric experience preferred. Would consider AA degree in lieu of experience, enrollment as a nursing student or in medical field (EMT).

Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses: Certified Nursing Assistant and/or minimum of 1 year of psychiatric experience, BLS upon hire, CPI within orientation period.
