The Pre-Analytical Supervisor leads and facilitates the phlebotomists and other clinical staff to collect and process quality specimens in a safe manner as outlined in BHCS policies. The Pre-Analytical Supervisor coaches for positive behavior and performance and is the responsible for scheduling and coordinating staff to meet patient needs.

The ideal candidate will have two years' supervisory experience, an Associate's Degree, and a relevant Pathology certification.

QUALIFICATIONS

- EDUCATION - H.S. Diploma/GED Equivalent

- EXPERIENCE - A minimum of 2 years experience required

- PREFERRED EXPERIENCE 2 plus years with ability to lead a team phlebotomy and speciman processing must have required certification 

- CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION -
       ASCP-Phlebotomy Tech (ASCP-PBT), Phlebotomy Tech Cert (NHA) (CPT), NCCT Phlebotomy Technician (NCPT), Phlebotomy Technician (PBT), Reg Phlebotomy Tech (RPT): Must have one of the following Phlebotomy certifications:
-- CPT Phlebotomy Tech Certificate (NHA)
-- NCPT Phlebotomy Technician (NCCT)
-- PBT Phlebotomy Technician
-- RPT Registered Phlebotomy Technician
-- ASCP-Phlebotomy Technician.
