Fairview Northland Medical Centers Emergency Department has Emergency Department trained

physicians, along with midlevel providers, RNs, EDTs and NSAs. We care for a variety of illness and

see pediatric to geriatric patients.

Northlands Emergency Department is a designated Level IV trauma center and is also Stroke Ready

Designated by the MN Department of Health. The departments bed capacity is 17 which include 2

trauma/critical care rooms, 2 behavioral health rooms. We also treat our infusion patients after hours and

weekends, when our infusion department is closed.

• 12 hour shifts
• Every third weekend

The Nursing Station Attendant position is responsible for performing receptionist duties on the station and maintaining patient care areas as well as minimal direct patient care.

Required:

• 1-2 years of experience working in a health care setting
• Previous customer service experience
• Current BLS certification
• Must have experience working with computer applications (e.g. WORD, EPIC, hospital specific software applications) and telephone usage

Prefer:

• Successful completion of a nursing assistant training program or health unit coordinator program
• Previous experience in patient care, as a HUC and/or working with providers
