Join St. John's Cardiac Cath Lab as a Cardiovascular RN! In this position you will be responsible for the delivery of quality patient care in accordance with established standards of practice. Assist the physician in performing invasive cardiac studies, both diagnostic and therapeutic. Schedule has rotating start times as well as rotating call nights/weekends. This position is a Day shift (8am - 4:30pm) with flexible start and end times, 64 hours per 2 weeks . On call 1 day a week and 1 weekend a month (live within 30 minutes from Hospital). This position is fully benefit eligible.

• Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures and standards.
• Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements.
• Utilizes nursing process by assessing, implementing and evaluating care given to assigned patients.
• Communicates accurately and effectively with patient/family and healthcare members regarding plan of care, nursing interventions and patient information.
• Coordinates care with physicians. Directs, coordinates and acts as a liaison for other health care personnel.
• Manages and supervises other unit personnel as needed.
• Assumes charge nurse responsibility as assigned.

• Assoiates degree in Nursing
• Basic Life Support
• Advaced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Registered Nurse with state of MN
• 2 years of ICU experience
• Cardiac ICU experience preferred
• Bachelors degree preferred
