This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application. Learn more Work Schedule: Monday - Friday Financial Disclosure Report: Not required The Team Lead, Suicide Prevention Coordinator (SPC) is located at the White River Junction VA Medical Center in the Mental Health Service and serves to facilitate implementation of suicide prevention strategies at the local level through education, monitoring, and coordination activities. The SPC oversees the daily operations of the Suicide Prevention program including providing supervision to all SP team members, ensuring direct care services are provided to high risk Veterans, providing education and training to VA and community stakeholders, ensuring timely responses inter-consult system and the Veterans Crisis Line consults, and completion of daily reporting/tracking. The SPC applies advanced professional diagnostic methods and evidence-based intervention strategies to a full range of Veteran problems in his/her work setting. S/he has advanced knowledge of psychiatric diagnosis, intervention, and behavioral health that qualifies him/her to provide advice and consultation to professionals representing a variety of disciplines. The GS 13 Team Lead, SPC is directly responsible to t he Deputy Chief of Mental Health or her/his designee.
