This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am-4:30pm Ambulatory Care - Athens/Aiken Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) Competence with EKG, taking blood for glucometer, obtain lab specimen, diabetic foot screening, administration of vaccinations, providing patient education regarding tobacco use, weight monitoring, screening of patients as needed, simple dressing change. May be assigned to cross cover in other clinical areas within his/her competency level. Stocking of rooms, ordering of supplies, maintains and uses oxygen equipment Conducts non-complex phone call-backs/ follow-ups Performs vital signs and record Conducts clinical reminders and equipment checks Assist Primary Care Provider with procedures Preferred Experience: 1-2 years full time clinical experience as a LPN in Medical/ Surgical setting, ED, Urgent Care or Primary Care preferred An understanding of clinical reminders and performance measures are preferred; Computer literate (knowledge of CPRS/ Outlook; Excel spreadsheets a must) ; Flexible, customer service friendly and have the ability to multi task; He/ she must be able to adapt quickly to change beyond the traditional role assignment and work with administrative and interdisciplinary team members. Work Schedule: 8:00am-4:30pm Ambulatory Care - PACT (Patient Aligned Care Team) Provides patient education regarding ambulatory sensitive conditions.
