Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Nursing Assistant for the Davino 1-Orthopedic Unit at Morristown Medical Center to work 3pm-11pm, including every other weekend.
Supporting nursing personnel in providing direct patient care
Assisting patients with daily activities such as changing, bathing, and feeding
Measuring and recording vital signs
Administering basic treatments
Helping to ensure a safe care environment
Continuous rounding throughout shift to ensure patient and family needs are met
Ensuring patients and families have a positive patient experience by exhibiting PRIDE behaviors, rounding, collaboration, teamwork and a positive attitude
Good communication skills
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have positive customer service skills
High School Diploma or GED required.
Must possess excellent customer service/organizational skills
Previous experience in a unit rep role a preferred
Applicant must possess exceptional interpersonal skills.
Must be a team player willing to work in a cohesive team with primary focus on patient safety, quality and satisfaction.
Must be able to assist in organizational throughput as an extension of the Perioperative team.
Must possess ability to work in a demanding, fast paced environment with a focus on Patient Satisfaction and Teamwork
Nursing Assistant certification preferred
