DescriptionSummary:Responsible for monitoring assigned patients within the hospital. May assist with meals and alerting staff to patients' needs.Responsibilities:Under the direction of a licensed professional, provides sitter services for the patient who has an order for 1:1 staffing.The individual in the position watches over the patient and ensures that they are in a safe environment at all times.The Patient Sitter will report to the nurse or charge nurse should the patient try to get out of bed, pull on their tubes, or display other behavior that may cause harm to themselves or others.The Patient Sitter position may provide assistance with direct patient care under the direction of a license
