MultiCare Health System is seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist for their growing child and adolescent psychiatric inpatient service located at Tacoma General Hospital. This opportunity is a 1.0 FTE. The Adolescent Behavioral Health Unit has 25 beds and houses voluntary and involuntary patients ranging in age from 13 to 18. Expectations for duties on the unit:1. Will be covering a maximum of 7-8 patients which will include 1-2 discharges, 1-2 new admits a day.2. All admissions can be voluntary, or Family initiated or Detained patients3. The legal status is taken care of when patient is initially admitted by intake coordinators and paperwork is reviewed by intake nurse. 4.
