The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Rochester Medical Center located in Rochester, NY is recruiting for a brain injury subspecialist. The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is tracking on a rapid faculty and growth initiative consisting of an already approved acute inpatient subspecialty neurorehabilitation unit opening FY23. This position will provide clinical brain injury expertise within the consult service, acute and subacute inpatient rehabilitation beds, as well as our growing brain injury outpatient populations. This role carries ample opportunity to pursue academic scholarly activity and research interfacing collaboratively with the Dept. of PM&R UR Neurorestorative Institute as well as with the Dept. of Neurology/Neurosurgery Del Monte Neuroscience Institute.

Ideal candidates would be BC/BE and fellowship trained in brain injury and/or a minimum of 5 years of experience managing brain injury patients and would also have a keen interest in teaching and mentoring fellows, residents and medical students.
