The Addiction Therapist is located within Mental Health Care Line in Kansas City VAMC. This position will routinely implement substance abuse activities that require the highest level of skill and knowledge of substance abuse treatment, and will serve as the case manager for the patients who are participating in the Substance Use Treatment Outpatient program. (STOP) and Compensated Work Therapy/Transitional Residence (CWT/TR) program. To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 03/14/2022. Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
